Ticket to Work

 

Goodwill  is an Employment Network provider through Social Security’s Ticket to Work Program. The goal of the Ticket Program is to increase opportunities and choices for Social Security disability beneficiaries to obtain employment and other support services.

Through the Ticket to Work Program Goodwill assists ticket holders in securing and maintaining competitive employment commensurate with their interests, skills, needs, and abilities. Services provided may include:

  • Career Exploration
  • Transferrable Skills Analysis
  • Job Seeking Skills Training
  • Effective Communications
  • Resume and Cover Letter Writing
  • Completing Job Applications
  • Interviewing Techniques
  • Mock Interviews
  • Job Search Strategies
  • Job Development/Placement
  • Referral Services

Job Support Services

  • Basic workplace skills training / pre-employment counseling
  • Identify and obtain reasonable accommodations or special needs
  • Acclimate successfully to the job
  • Manage work related issues and needs
  • On and offsite job coaching
  • Referral Services

 

All services are individualized and are based upon the employment plan and needs of the individual served.
