Ticket to Work
Goodwill Industries of Northeast Indiana Inc. is an Employment
Network provider through Social Security’s Ticket to Work Program.
The goal of the Ticket Program is to increase opportunities and choices
for Social Security disability beneficiaries to obtain employment, vocational rehabilitation (VR), and other support services from public and private
providers, employers, and other organizations.
Through the Ticket to Work Program Goodwill assists ticket holders to secure
and maintain competitive employment commensurate with interests, skills,
needs, and abilities. Services provided may include:
- Job Seeking Skills / Job Readiness Training
- Career Awareness
- Completing Job Applications
- Effective Communications
- Resume and Cover Letter Writing
- Job Development
- Interviewing Techniques and Questions
- Role Modeling
- Mock Interviews and Video Taping and Playback
- Job Placement
- Job Coaching
- Follow Up
- Post Employment Services
- Referral Services
All services are varied and are based upon the employment plan of the individual served.
