Outcome Summary 2011

In 2011, Goodwill continued to provide services that met the expectations of our stakeholders. Our Strategic Plan was utilized to develop 5 priority categories and 19 objectives that were used to measure our progress.

Sixteen goals were met or exceeded:

  • Number of internal promotions
  • Clients obtaining suitable competitive employment
  • Clients maintaining employment
  • Number of days for clients to obtain employment
  • Client satisfaction levels
  • Client survey return rate
  • Research additional program
  • Use of donated/refurbished/energy efficient computer equipment 
  • Recycling revenue
  • ShopGoodwill.com revenue
  • Clean/unqualified audit opinion
  • Better Business Bureau Wise Giving Alliance Standards
  • Board meeting attendance
  • Website enhancements 
  • Appropriate social media
  • Re-branding of Goodwill trucks

Three goals were not met. These goals and results were analyzed and recommendations/action plans were written for 2012. These goals were:

  • Number of clients in Walgreen’s Retail Training Program
  • Number of individuals with barriers to employment referred from other agencies
  • Number of days from referral to entry into program
