Your Cell Phone Can Make a DifferenceDonate a phone

Goodwill participates in the 'Donate a Phone' program.   Proceeds from the sale of the phones will benefit Goodwill job training and employment programs. Older, obsolete phones will be recycled in a safe and environmentally friendly manner. Drop them off any any one of our donation centers.

Tips for Donating Wireless Phones

bullet

Newer is better. The most valuable phones are those under two years of age.

bullet

Smaller is better. Every year, phone models get smaller and smaller, so one good indicator of a phone's age is its size.

bullet

Digital is better. Phones that identify themselves as being “CDMA,” “TDMA” or “GSM” employ newer digital technology. Be careful -- some phones that say “digital” on the body are not really digital.

bullet

Just say no to phones we cannot use. Please do not donate so-called “bag phones,” cordless telephones, walkie-talkies, pagers, two-way radios and other commercial radios.
