Outcome Summary 2008 In 2008 Goodwill Industries continued our goal of providing services that meet or exceed the expectations of our stakeholders. Our Strategic Plan, approved by the Board of Directors, sets the framework for planning our priorities and goals for the year. The leadership develops objectives, metrics and goals to measure our progress. The 2008 Outcomes Management Report includes goals and results for each of our departments. Additionally, Employment Services Department goals and results include effectiveness, efficiency, service access and satisfaction of clients and other stakeholders, as required by CARF. There were 4 priority groups, with a total of 16 objectives and goals. Although many of the goals have a two year time frame, six of the goals were met in 2008. The goals that were met are: • Client satisfaction • Increase client survey return rate • Increase use of recycled computer equipment • Expand recycling • Maintain strong internal controls • Maximize board member attendance In the future goals will be set on an annual basis for easier reporting.
