Goodwill participates a 'Ink/Toner Recycling' program with Wabash Electric and EnviroSmart.  Every year, millions of pounds of plastic are thrown into our nation’s landfills, taking up valuable space and wasting priceless resources. Goodwill is committed to preserving our planet’s natural resources, and you can help.

Recycling saves natural resources and energy, as well as space in landfills. It turns materials that would otherwise become waste into valuable resources… materials like printer cartridges. That’s where Goodwill comes in.

At Goodwill, we believe everyone can do something to protect the environment. For us, it’s saving empty ink jet and laser cartridges from landfills and remanufacturing the recyclables into premium quality replacement cartridges. 

For the ink cartridges, the process is simple...

1) Visit one of our many stores.

2) Pick up an empty recycling envelope (each store has a display by the cash registers), and take it home for when you need it.

3) When the time comes, place your empty cartridge into the envelope.  Each envelope has free postage.

4) Then drop it in the nearest mailbox.

Its that simple and at no cost to you! Plus, you've saved space and resources from the landfills.
